Isn't it wild how time flies? Am I having fun? Or, is writing a book really really fucking hard. I think a bit of both…. but I have to admit that it’s a little bit scary that we're only eight weeks away from 2026.
Newsletter Growth
I'm thrilled to share we've crossed 50 subscribers! That's 50 passionate people showing genuine interest in the book, all without any major marketing push (yet). This newsletter is our dedicated space to share behind-the-scenes insights, book progress, and exclusive value for those who've jumped on board early. Once I master Beehiiv, expect even more value, like premium content and a behind-the-scenes take on progress.
Book Status
I'm grateful to be partnering with an incredible book coach called Sarah Jenkins who's guiding me through this process. We've curated a shortlist of publishers mostly in the education space, which feels like the perfect fit for a book like this.
Our journey has been quite the rollercoaster: from a jaw-dropping $450K quote from Forbes Business, to exploring self-publishing, teaming up with a top-notch editor and publisher, circling back to self-publishing, and now targeting these specialised presses.
We're aiming to submit tailored proposals by December 12th, with fingers crossed for a green light in Q1 2026.

Building Communities
Once proposals are out the door, I'll ramp up marketing efforts. Look out for my articles in Transform Magazine and The One Club for Creativity, plus appearances on select podcasts. If you have ideas for other platforms, events, or audiences where the Bing Bong Book could add real value, hit reply, I'd love your suggestions!
