Dear Friends and Contributors,
These past few months have been a whirlwind and with regards to an update, I am well and duly overdue in owing you one…
Firstly, Brandingmag and I have decided to amicably part ways. Flavia and her team will be supporting the book (we’ve had some great conversations about various promotion activities and so on) but regrettably not as the publisher. What this means, is that I will be self-publishing the First edition of this book through my own channels also meaning it will be available on all major book publishing retail platforms too.
The latest draft of the complete book is coming together really nicely but there is still quite a bit to do before we announce pre-orders. I’d like to share the Front Cover of the book on 1st October 2025 - International Music Day and would appreciate your thoughts before I do!

Bing Bong Book Front Cover Final Draft 1
“A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats”
Because I value the input of my peers so greatly, I’ve made a Google Doc of the latest draft and I’m asking several people to contribute to a chapter. I do believe that this book will put a focus on the importance of a strategic approach to music that will benefit all of us involved. My deadline for final suggestions is December which should give me enough time before getting ready for finalising everything in the new year.
Release
The book will be available in three editions.
Bing Bong LITE [PDF/ePub format, Interviews and in b+w]
Bing Bong FULL [PDF/ePub, AudioBook, Full Interviews, Full Colour with Interactive assets such as Decks and Video]
Bing Bong DELUXE [As above, but a limited edition physical run and unique and Bonus content]
Communities
We will be partnering with a number of members-only Creative [The One Club, Soho House, Creatives for Climate etc] and Business [The Portfolio Collective etc] communities to promote and market the book - should you have any other networks where the book could bring value, please do feel free to share and let me know by replying to this email.
Contributors
This book wouldn’t be as informed and effective without the amazing people who’ve contributed so far. With this in mind, we are still exploring further collaboration opportunities (my aim is 100 interviews and we’ve around 60 so far). If you have anyone in mind that you’d like to suggest as a contributor, please do let me know by replying to this email. I think the more, the better quality of the book and more opportunities to share our wisdom with as many as possible.
Thank You
To my knowledge, a book like this has never existed before. I can’t thank all of you enough for the belief and ongoing support.
Finally, a big thank you to Alexandre at Berklee College of Music, Valencia for writing the ever-important Foreword and setting the stage for the rest of the book.
Not a bad warm up act ;-)
Bing Bong.
